rivals to lovers like never before :’)) i just love their dynamics personally as an academic achiever!! i somehow relate w/ alice with her inner dilemmas and would think “this girl is so me” every chance i get xD nyways, i love love love it

This book made me feel seen. The Chinese culture, whether it was food, social interactions, customs, was woven so wonderfully through the story. It’s been a long time since I’ve read anything that I’ve related to so much.

And while usually YA high school drama is not my thing, this book really had me in the palm of its hand. Was absolutely hooked by this story.

Henry is also such a golden retriever boyfriend. I’m obsessed.
