It took me almost 4 months to read this book but I enjoyed every bit of it. I don't have kids or a partner so I found those parts of the book hard to pay attention to. I could have skipped them and followed the shortcuts; I just didn't want to miss any of the knowledge she was dropping. This book will be on my to buy list.

I have mixed feelings about this book.  I understand what the author was saying,  but I disagree with a majority of it. To sum it up, yes, rest days and self care is extremely important,  but we need/should hold ourselves accountable. I completely understand that everyone goes through struggles in their lives,  but, when stuff needs to get done,  we should do it. Let's not over complicate it.

Really helpful tips and good reframing, I can’t get over the suggestion to run the dishwasher twice with mostly clean dishes and 3 dirty dishes but I think that is something I will have to deal with on my own lol.

Very practical, and to-the-point. Gives lots of ways to adjust ideas to fit your life.
