Audiobook review. This book was. It what I thought it was going to be, but I still got something out of it. Shifting your perspective and language around care tasks was valuable hear someone talk about.

Compassionate and sensible advice. What you're doing right now to try to keep house isn't working so you might just hold some space for yourself and see what happens.

I waited so long to get this book from the library after months of being on the waitlist, and once I got to finally read it I was disappointed. Pinsky's "Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD" had all of the same advice with much less self-loathing, but still plenty of empathy and understanding of the minds of people with ADHD...and also people with chronic illness, mental health struggles, and more. I didn't find anything new and didn't find it worthwhile to finish.
