I loved the romance side in here and how the characters that work together are so focused on investigating the murder on the tourist island but also keep their private life on the line. Tess is such a great female character, and her curiosity and backbone had me cheering out for her throughout the pages. Thrilling and addictive, with a few twists that left me in awe, Buried Bones is a must read story.

Another great case and story

I really enjoyed this one. We get to see things progress with Logan and Tessa as they are solving another case and figuring things out. I love the interaction with the other characters and still getting to see Cate and Henry as a good part of the story. There were definitely some twists as these two tried to find the connections of what happened in their case. I really enjoyed it and am excited for more in this series. Each case is interesting and exciting.

The seventh book in the Widows Island series brings us back to the island and its small community. This novella fits perfectly into the series: a quick and to the point read, centered around a murder case, but in the background the life of Tessa, Logan, Cate, Henry, Sam and all the other people we met in the previous books moves on.
You can read this as a standalone crime story, but it's also worth going back to the previous books and have an overall picture of the characters and their history.

Many thanks for NetGalley and Montlake for an Advance Reading Copy.
