I read to about 40% before skipping to the end. I was tired of writing this is stupid or this doesn't make any sense in my notes over and over. It was too obvious that something was henky with one or both narrators. The pacing was too fast to have in depth characterization. I felt like it was just written for the twists.
I love the way they write these books!!! I was hooked and shocked at the ending and had to re read it to really have it sink in!
the main characters weren't likeable at all. and i guess that was the point but it was tough to feel any sympathy for any of them. i read there was a twist at the end so i skipped through 70% of it to get to the end. even that wasn't satisfying. not a great read
5 stars just for that twist alone because my jaw DROPPED and I was back tracking every single I thought when I started this book. I was so ANGRY for most of this book and I really was planning on giving this a 3/4 stars because of just how mad I was, but this is definitely one of those “trust the process and wait for it” books. Such a good book and I do recommend it if you want your head to spin for a crazy twist!

Great read!!! Read it in a day. Literally couldn’t put it down. Captivating right from the start. The relationship between Leo & Joanna is definitely amiss. Add the beautiful single widowed Piper & let the saga begin. Loved the authors alternating chapters from Piper & Joanna’s perspectives. Each chapter revealing a bit more of each character that build a solid foundation for lots of twists & turns. Just when you think you have it figured out…. the REAL truth comes out. WOW! I was totally shocked & definitely could not have predicted the outcome. This was my first read by author Liv Constantine but will not be my last.
This started strong, with seemingly perfect families in Westport - with a detour to Greenwich - and the new arrival of a new age woman in town. It quickly went off the rails and I asked myself why I was sticking with it. A few twists at the end were great reward for having done so.
