I am of two minds of this book. I listened to it on audio over the course of just two or three days, so I was clearly gripped to the story. But some of the dialogue and writing was just so cheesy. I love this author duo, and I will read anything that they produce.

I have truly never been so mad and frustrated at a character in my entire life. I wanted to throw my kindle at the wall MANY times because it cannot just be possible that the characters could be making such AWFUL decision. This story goes back and forth between two POV's and the entire time you are convinced they are both insane. Joanna is a devoted mom to her two children and the wife of a lawyer. Piper newly moved to the area and their paths cross. This is a story of a scorned wife seeking revenge of her husbands new love interest. I will say, this was an ending that had me completely shocked with my mouth on the floor.

I think I set my expectations too high after the last mrs Parrish. This isn’t a bad book but it slows down in the middle and the ending feels rushed. I just didn’t love it. I won’t remember it in a few days.

A decent audiobook. Entertaining enough but disappointing compared to The Last Mrs. Parrish. The twist was frustrating but at least it all made sense and was wrapped up nicely.
Graphic: Suicide, Stalking, Murder
Minor: Sexual content

Idk what to make of this. It felt rushed initially and then a bit slow and then the ending was out of nowhere and I don’t even know what to think. That said it held my attention and I finished it in two sittings so I guess that’s high praise.
