overall, pretty good book from chuck. interesting premise and view of the future. initially intrigued, but then slightly turned off, by the time-traveling bit (what with being an expert on time travel and all).
As a fan of Palahniuk, I always expect a twist in his works. However, this has been the only book of his (so far) that I actually said aloud, "What the f-?!"
The twist was unexpected, but captivating when it's finally revealed. I found the narration format quite interesting and different.

It was weird. Not horrible, just very weird. I've heard some of his other stuff is good, so if you like this author, it's worth a read. Otherwise, I wouldn't make this the first book of his you read.
