i LOVED the Last Hope. i was so good and a perfect way to wrap up the Warrior Cats. But nooooo you just had to keep writing and had to ruin it all. it was not good. oh so somehow, BrambleStar and Squirrelflight, reconciled and have kits. what?? why?? if the hero was a cat that came from a clan and was the protagonist, rather then Firestars great, great, great, grandniece twice removed (you get where im going) it would of been much more exciting.
though the hunters tried to bring new characters in, it was sad because they were all soo boring.
Needlepaw was so anointing, how she never got in trouble but Alderpaw did was beyond me.
it was nowhere near as good as the others andhopefully the next book is better but my hopes are not high.

So. There's a standalone Warriors installment where Firestar goes in search of a missing fifth Clan, Skyclan, and he saves them and teaches them to be a Clan because they are just a mess; Skyclan's early days of coexistence with the other Clans is chronicled in the Dawn of the Clans arc, where the other Clans shape them into a proper Clan, because they are just a mess. Now it seems we have another arc doing the very same thing.
And what kind of ending was that? It was basically a scenario where those two mothers took King Solomon up on the proposition of splitting the baby in half. What are you doing, Erin Hunter? What are you DOING?!
I more or less gave up on the Gathering Darkness arc of Survivors because stupidity of so many characters was getting on every last nerve, and though this arc isn't there yet, I'm really hoping this does better. I have long had a soft spot for the Warriors saga all through the plot holes and errors, and seeing this series being so bad that even my generous rating system is giving it an average score just makes me sad. I really, really mean it when I say I hope this gets better.

Fun little trip back to fourth grade. ☺ I would kind of like to see a story from another clan's point of view, but Alderpaw is a good main cat-acter (I'm so funny) and I like his relationship with his sister. Having read Moth Flight's Vision, I'm wondering if (potential spoiler, I'm not exactly sure) her kits that were distriputed to the different clans have something to do with this... the stuff about the four pieces of the star and the circle coming full circle and all that. I'm very curious about the new prophecy.
