Good

I like that this story line had its own twist and danger. So glad it wasn't a typical love story

Loved it!

This is one of my all time favorite series and I particularly like Carter and Eliza’s story. You have the action and suspense and the loooooove along with great banter between those two.

DID NOT FINISH

So I wanted some romance when I started, but after that I wasn't really in the mood for romance, so I stopped reading this book for a while. Not because I was annoyed with it, but it sounded just like the first book in this series.

Which is every romance ever.

And I should have known that.

But anyway, I started reading it again because I was like "come on, you have eight books in your currently reading bookshelf! You have to finish some of them..." So I figured this one would be the easiest, right? Well, when Eliza's neighbor said she had a broken rosebush, and her roommate hadn't seen anyone, of course it would be reasonable to assume that it was the dog when she knows she's being chased by a killer and she's been paranoid for the whole book except when she should be paranoid. Also, when Carter and Eliza start buying planes, I (kind of) understand because she is being chased by a killer, so she doesn't want to go on a domestic flight. That's all fine and jiffy. Then she's like "Our plane should have a bedroom. If we're buying a plane, we should go all out." I'm just like "...um, no. First, where the hell is the logic in that? I could just as easily say (if I had the money to buy a plane) that I should only buy what I need and save the rest of the money, so I shouldn't have a bedroom. There is absolutely no logic in what you just said. Second, what about all the people dying in africa from malnutrition? Have you seen those creepy UNICEF photos?! You don't need to have sex on the plane when you could help people dying from malnutrition! rrgh." And then Carter agrees. He's been a lawyer and a judge and he's running for friggin' governor, so he's definitely seen the creepy UNICEF photos. And he still wants a plane with a completely unnecessary & expensive friggin' bedroom? rrrrrgh...

So yeah, I'm done. And I don't care what happens to the killer. He can kill Eliza for all I care.

But leave Carter for me.

mwahahahaha...

This is series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. The characters and the storyline drew me in and kept me wanting more!

I loved both Carter and Eliza. Almost worried that the other books in the series won't measure up
funny fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

More fluff and foolishness. And,not as good as the 1st one. Ending felt like the author was just trying to get it done.

Really loving this series!!! Nothing about the arranged marriage concept is cookie cutter and so far all of the stories are different but connected. Carter and Eliza work great together, the sexual tension jumps off the page, and they just work so well together. Loved the appearance of the secondary characters for the series and really felt the flow.

This is a really cute story! I liked the intrigue and danger. Also, I hope Zod sticks around!

This was a good story and liked following the story of Eliza and Carter. However I found the storyline a bit predictable and in some ways very similar to the first book in the series. The only difference being the secret Eliza had been keeping that got revealed. It was a good story however it did not keep me as hooked as the first book in the series. x
