I am absoltely eating up this series and I 100% love it. I originally thought each book was about each Sister Solstice, which in a way it its but it covers all characters and not just Winnie. I loved that we got know more about Winne and her life and why she is the way she is. it broke my heart. I love the introduction of the druids and the Cirque and love Lau! There are so many unanswered questions and I hope the Magus gets his dues served after what he did to Anne! Honestly cant wait for book three! More People need to read this series! xx
" A damsel with her own dagger is worth far more than a white knight."
This story does not repeat very much of what happened in book 1 so if you're going to read this series definitely make sure you remember what happened in the previous book

I wish it followed Winnie more. Instead this is a continuation with a minor focus on Winnie

What a page turner!! I loved getting a few new POV in this book as so much was going on at once with different plot lines.
While Aggie is still so far my favorite sister, I truly enjoyed getting Winnie’s background and learning more about why she is the way she is. Getting to experience the Cirque and meeting new friends along the way was super fun. I also loved her banter with Eleanor and the crotchety but enduring friendship that they developed. Also major plot twist at the end re: Eleanor!
Vera may have been a favorite with her sour old biddy self and the things she picks up that no one else did
Seeing the sister all work together to help their magic become less destructive when they spent time together was just lovely.
I am so so curious what will come next with all the sisters, the Order(s), the Magi, the draught, the Empress, and of course our dear old Grimm.
One thing I do wish was there was maybe a short synopsis at the beginning of the book because some major things/info about the magic was hard to recall since I did not do a re read. It would’ve cleared some things up!
All in all, I highly recommend this series!

I really wanted to love this book, but I just couldn’t. Autumn of the Grimoire was so enjoyable so we (my book club and I) were really excited about it, but the entire thing just felt so disjointed. Between jumping from past to present, and from character/scene to a different character/scene it was all over the place without anything actually happening. It felt like the plot didn’t happen until the very end. I just. I can’t. I probably won’t continue the series. I definitely won’t be buying a hard copy again.
Also, I am really annoyed that the SE had a shiny cover when the first book was matte. Really disappointing.
