So my heart kinda hurts a little(ok maybe a lot) after finishing this book. I have to wait til October for the next one
This became more of an ensemble story and I'm not connecting with the characters and can't keep who is who in order.
I fell in love with Autumn of the Grimoire, so naturally I jumped at the chance to read Winter of the Wicked.
Winter of the Wicked picks up RIGHT where Autumn left off. I lovedseeing more of Agatha and Grimm.
I was truly shocked by Winnie because she was exactly what I expected her to be like, but by the end she came in with a whole new side that wad such a nice surprise.
J.L. Vampa wrote multiple POV, and different timelines seamlessly and it gave so much insight to different parts of the plot and characters that we really needed, and wanted.
The cliffhanger at the end blindsided me, I was so wrapped into the story that I didn’t even realize it was over and I kept angrily trying to turn the page for more. I need to know what happens next, so I’ll be (im)patiently waiting for the next book.

"But History just endlessly repeats itself until someone has the guts to stand up and say enough is enough." - Eleanor
“Perhaps something terrible, or perhaps nothing happened to him at all. It doesn’t matter. It’s the inside we look for, Sisters. The beautiful can be grotesque and the beastly exquisite.” - Winnie
“I’ll not say I’m unafraid, only fools claim that, but if Prince Grimm has taught me anything, it is that courage is not the absence of fear, but the fight through it and moving forward despite its presence.” - Augustus
“Love does not disappear, dove. Even if you feel you no longer know it. If ever you feel lost, return to where love knows you.” - the sisters' mother
