I was drawn to this since I love reading and am a former bookseller myself, but overall was a miss for me. Many of the stories blended together and the book felt too long and ended abruptly. There were a few unique stories that stood out, such as the perspective of a librarian working in a prison system, the librarian working in a holocaust museum. I did especially like hearing the perspectives of librarians have fought against book banning in schools and public libraries. That was the most interesting part for me. So overall it was still fun to read, but nothing profound.
