This book started out slow for me. I wasn’t really invested, but I pushed through and I am so glad I did. The story and the twists kept me up all night reading. This was my first Lars Kepler read and I can’t wait to read more.

Fantastisk bra - beste av Kepler sålangt.
Creepy oppbygning og en skikkelig psykologisk thriller. Pageturner! Komplett omtale ligger her:

O livro é daqueles que a gente não consegue parar de ler. Tem serial killer, detetive famoso, detetive mulher fodona. E o enredo é até interessante mas passa do ponto. A sequência “final” é tão cheia de “adrenalina” que chega quase a ser um pastelão.
Tendo dito tudo isso é preciso dizer que eu gostei do livro!

Definitely the best of Kepler thus far; just couldn't put it down. Books like this are the reason why I have a hate/love relationship with cliffhangers.

Ah I had missed Joona Linna. This series is so good y’all. The Sandman is the fourth installment and my favorite so far.

This one gave me the creeps. The crimes are very dark and might keep you up at night. If you like gritty crime fiction you’re going to love this series. The Sandman gives you the worst serial killer yet.

Lars Keplar is so good at giving you characters you want to read about. Joona is a complicated detective that I’m fascinated with. Does it get a little annoying that every other character is all, “Joona is the best”? Yes. But is Joona the best…maybe

So, this is the fourth Lars Kepler book I have read, and I have loved them all, but I have the same problem every time. When I get to the climax with around 100 pages or so left, the things that happen are so terrifying that I have to read all the way to the end of the book before I can go to sleep. So last night I picked this up at about 8, and had to read all the way through til almost 1030 (past my bedtime). It was worth it, but I really need to stop reading thrillers at bedtime.

I thought this book was wonderful, another awesome psychological thriller that the Swedes consistently do so well.

Thrilling, creepy and with the scariest villain ever. I really really enjoyed it and I can't wait to keep on reading this series.
