okay i thoroughly enjoyed this one. it was hilarious. listened to the audiobook and i think it was even more impactful in that format. a modern romantic comedy set in 1500 tudor england. witches, friendship, and love! and cocks.

To say that I adored this book is an understatement. I connected to the main character so much and loved her journey. In the beginning she was insufferable but portrayed very realistically, considering her upbringing. Knowing Anne’s story was an emotional roller coaster but ultimately made this book shine even more, knowing how inevitable her death was.

Although it started very well and with such interesting premise, the book got 'bad' out of nowhere as if the story didn't had anywhere interesting to go.. I still had 3h to finish but this year I'm prioritizing reads that I actually enjoy, so this unfortunately becomes a DNF.
