The tagline for this book is 'Men suck'which makes the ending more annoying, Lif deserved her ending, but Freyr is left unharmed and get peace and Gardar is not given a death scene. Freyr should have been killed too. he experienced almost zero danger despite an ominous warning that he was in danger and he was an awful person

Listened to this. Maybe too much going on at once making it hard to follow at times. A decent ghost story... off to find more about the true story this is based on.
