Chociaż wolę powieści Agathy Christie, te krótkie opowiadania nadal trzymają w napięciu i zawierają refleksje o psychologii.

I was really in the mood for a Christmas murder book.
Maybe it’s just the fact that this one was an audiobook, why I could not dive in it the proper way, maybe because there were to many cases to investigate or maybe I was mentally anywhere else, but for now it’s only a 3* book for me.

Because nothing says Christmas like a good English mystery!

Definitely not the place to get an introduction to Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple, but for those already acquainted this is a lovely way to jump right in to a handful of murder mysteries.

A short story of a novella more than a real story, but not even the best short story of Christie's. The mystery is not very urgent, the bad guy is the bad guy (spoiler alert, I guess) and there are not really ingenious plot twists. Even the "surprise" ending isn't much of a surprise because you know it's too close to the end.
