Wolfhunter River

Gwen Proctor might've escaped her serial killer husband and saved her family, but at what cost?

Wolfhunter River is the third book in the Stillhouse Lake series. This has been an outstanding series and with only two more to go in the series, I am trying to stretch them out as much as I can.

The intensity throughout this series has been so good and will have readers on the edge of their seats, staying up late to reach the last page desperate to know how the story will end. This is honestly a well-written thriller/mystery and it's a must-read for anyone who enjoys this genre. Highly recommended.

The writing is so engaging it doesn’t even matter that I just read the same book three times in a row!

This was a good mystery/thriller series and I really enjoyed all three books.

After the end of book two, I wasn’t sure where the plot could go next, especially if Caine wanted to keep up the fast-paced suspense. She didn’t disappoint! Great themes of love, forgiveness, family, and protecting the ones you love.

Non stop action 4.5*

This series continues to reel me in with how fast paced it is, I couldn't put my kindle down. With all the action and different arcs going on I didn't even recognize that there were so many shady characters and revelations until I read it the second time.

Absolutely love the entire series! Although, I have to say, Gwen should stay away from places with names that give you shivers

This one went from slow to fast paced about half way through. This story was so different it almost didn’t need to be a part of this series. I guess it’s a transitional story since the main conflict was mostly wrapped up in the last book. Lots of action type scenes. Solid mystery.

Wasn’t sure how she was going to continue the series after how the last one wrapped up. This was full of action and guessing but a little too many things that could realistically happen in my opinion. Still a good read though.
