Quick read, voice actress was good. The set up was great and the influncer cast was believable. I was so invested until the actual murders started happening and then it felt like every bad "hiding from a murderer" movie you ever saw as a teenager. And after the last 10 minutes and it ending I literally said "WHAT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"
Graphic: Violence, Murder

I could not put this book down! I needed to know what was happening so bad! Little let down by the ending but was not as predictable as I thought it was going to be.

I typically love Natasha Preston, but this one wasn't a hit for me. It almost read like a horror movie parody rather than a serious horror novel. And there wasn't really an ending... I'm genuinely unsure what the last couple of sentences in the book are supposed to mean for the character involved. I turned the page expecting there to be more, or some kind of glimpse of the future to explain what happened, but... nope. We just end mid-scene with that uncertainty.
Merged review:

This book just wasn’t for me. It had my attention during the first few chapters and after that I lost interest. The ending did shock me, however, the immediate cliffhanger ruined it for me.
The premise sounded like a lot of fun, but the writing was so painfully young and cringey.
