I love KM as an omegaverse author, I loved the male omega and female alpha concept, butttttt this was blah

It had good elements but it was almost too long or maybe I didn’t care about the conflict enough?

After about 75% I found myself forcing to keep going

The pack moments were excellent, I just don’t think I cared about Omnikron or the bad guys

Refreshing! I liked the new dynamics between the characters, namely that the tropes in A/B/O-verse (i.e. submissive almost damsel-like omega) weren't really present as they usually are in these stories. The main omega and lead alpha were better fleshed out and I think it led to a better story. I will say I did have a harder time connecting to the other three characters, but I think that I personally was so interested in the main two the others were just not it for me. Overall pretty smooth read. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.
