A timeless tale of life, passion, grief and above all: love. Was there ever a woman written more beautifully? Was there ever a love written more reverently? Was there ever a grief written more violently?

More pathetic version of 500 Days of Summer.

There’s nothing romantic about this book. Raif Efendi was given the privilege of studying abroad while war happened in his hometown, and he wasted it by wandering the city and reading, all while claiming he’s a shy man. He ignored his father until the man died :////// then threw away every opportunity he had for a woman he barely even knew. He’s even not a good husband and an absent father :////

The writing is fine and i have to say some parts hit me hard.
