It’s fine. But it’s marketed as queer and it is not queer. A book, a romance is not queer just because the characters’ friends are queer.
My ENTIRE heart melted- I couldn’t put this book down if I tried. That epilogue!!
The first 100 pages or so I wasn’t feeling it. Also, Darcy is an emotionally abusive POS & it really pissed me off. As an Annie, the Annie the Musical jokes irked me pretty bad because NO ONE named Annie actually says “Bet your bottom dollar” casually & in a sentence unironically.
