really not sure how to feel about this. like parenting, owning/taking care of an animal can be done different ways, and not everyone will agree on how it should be done. however, Zusak's style of taking care of his dogs was something I really did not agree with and I had trouble enjoying the book because of it. I understand that some crazy/unfortunate things can happen when you have dogs, but some were preventable/could've been handled better imo.

Anything regarding dogs always piques my interest! This was a cute book full of memories of a man, his family, and his three wild dogs (and 2 cats). It was cute, funny, heartbreaking, relatable, and more. It’s also a quick read.
