I don't think this is as good as the Riyria Relevations, but still a fun story. It doesn't have the intricacies of the first series, but it's still a solid, well plotted story with lots of fun twists. I really enjoyed reading about how Hadrian and Royce first met. I also really liked reading about Gwen's history, and I hope to hear more in the next one.
I want to spend much more time with Hadrian and Royce, so please, bring on some more! :)

I enjoyed this book. At the beginning, I thought Hadrian was really naive, but once Royce arrived and told him just what I was thinking, the book started to make more sense.
I looked for the next book in the series in the audio section of the library, but didn't see it. Once I figure out the first book in the original series, I'll add that to my to read list.
