I wasn't a fan of this volume compared to the last few. Some neat moments and cute character interactions, but the plot was really lacking for me.

YESS. I loved this one so much.

I really loved the voting and virus storyline. Voting is such an important topic. If you have the right to vote, you better use it. Also the virus that pretty much fed itself through internet hate. SUCH AN IMPORTANT topic as well. The internet could do with more kindness.

I just miss having Bruno around, I'm glad we got more of him towards the end. But I miss him, and I miss the Kamala/Bruno friendship. Everything about this just breaks my heart. Also, Zoe and Nakia. MY HEART!!!!

Meh. Ms. Marvel saves democracy and the internet and all it took was a little bit of love and reasoning with people. This was a strangely didactic volume that gave very simplistic answers to complicated problems. I know these books are for younger people, but I don't think these types of messages are ultimately that helpful. But maybe I am too jaded.

I was looking forward to seeing how Kamala would get on after the events of the last volume, and I must say I really liked this arc overall. It's lighter than the previous one, although there's still some important moments in there, including a few emotional ones. I love how Kamala's family is always present in one form or another, it's great to see those bonds, and her friendships are wonderful too.
