Single parent trope is really all I need to bump a book to 4 stars minimum
As always, nalini singh delivers and rereading this, I understand Dorians turmoil over loving Ashaya.
And the twin link makes a lot more sense this time around. It's the book that's turning the entire world politics by its head and heading to new territories

Ashaya & Dorian
Not one of my favorites. I felt like the main characters (while I still liked them and was invested) were a little lackluster compared to the last books. The whole “evil twin” storyline just didn’t do it for me and I would have liked to see her die in the end, instead of being linked to the web with the others.
(Also side note: I really don’t care for the men in this series forcing touch onto these women, especially when they tell them to stop🙃)
(Audiobook)

I enjoyed this book a lot more than the last one. MUCH more interesting female lead....male lead is identical to all the others. The only male who remains at all interesting seems to be Judd at this point. I wish she mixed it up just a little but she doesn't even mix up the vocab. There was a lot about the world building in this book though and I really enjoyed that....the building rebellion is what keeps me going...only, what, a dozen more of these go?

Loved it!! Loved Dorian, loved Ashaya. Loved the increasing overall plot development. Loved Keenan, loved all the secondary characters, it was a big ol' love fest.

Must gobble up more!
