A lovely summation of my thoughts. I struggled with the writing from time to time but love and believe the message!

I really enjoyed this one. I like Bell's writing, mixing stories with theology. I like that some questions are left hanging there. He leaves the readers with hope, hope for something even better.

I'm not a huge fan of Rob Bell's writing style. I think he's trying to be accessible, but it comes off as obnoxious and dumbed down. A bit too cutesy for me.

The whole book read like one long run-in sentence. He wasn't very clear in what he was trying to get across. That said, there were definitely some interesting ideas and stories. I just wish I understood better what he was trying to say.

This book reminded me of C.S. Lewis's the Great Divorce - in content not style. I love Rob Bell. This book is a quick read. There's so much new richness on my favorite parables and it made me think about life differently, a sure sign of a good book...

Confession: I liked Rob Bell's controversial book, Love Wins.

I mean, I really liked it.

Lots of Christians condemned it as heresy, but mostly, I agreed with him.

Let the prayers and/or stonings begin.

A great introduction to the Christian idea of heaven, hell and universalism for people interested in an alternative (though some believe maybe more orthodox) vision on what is actually going on when Jesus talks about heaven and what we mean when we say that 'God is Love'. Rob Bell is a very intriguing thinker, and a much needed voice within evangelical Christianity. He faces questions head on not a lot of Christian pastors would like to ask. But as anything other than a quick read - study material for example, this book is rather thin. Most of the time I felt topics were concluded before they had even properly been introduced, which is a shame. I would for sure go read Surprised by Hope by N.T. Wright and The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis for more on this.

Lots to process.
