This.... sadly this was just awful for me. These poems are so cringey. It's the Rupi Kaur 2012 Tumblr craze all over again. This same style and all the poems are about being sad over a boy and how you should love yourself. I could not.
This is a short collection but I couldn't get through it. It was just horrible.

Bin in Love!

This is the very first time I've read a whole book of poetry and prose. I had no idea what to expect and certainly wasn't prepared for the feelings that hit me.

Spoiler"I laugh freely in the daylight, but in the dark, I am a slave to my anxiety. ..."

Two incredibly talented authors came together writing a love letter. To you, to me, to each of us who will read and listen. Showing us that we all feel everything and it's something that's valuable and something that makes us vulnerable at the same time.

Spoiler"If you knew how strong you were, you'd never doubt your heartbeats. ..."

They want us to embrace our feeling, to be brave and listen to hour heartbeats and never be too afraid to act on them. We only have one life, and we should live it to enjoy it. This is certainly a thing you'll get while reading their touching words.

Spoiler"Every sunrise you're allowed to begin again. ..."

The words you find in this Love Letter will touch your heart and soul. They'll make you smile, make you cry, make you remember. They will give you the hope and strength you never knew you were looking for.

The illustrations were lovely, but many of the poems were sophomoric.

A Love Letter From the Girls Who Feel Everything showcases the elegant brilliance, delicate vulnerability, and mighty self-worth that all women aspire to embody. I will treasure this gorgeous little paperback, the inspiration it gave me, and all the sticky notes I placed between its pages, forever.

This collection of poetry is beautiful and real. They are not just about romance, but about life and the things that we all feel at some point in our lives, but may be afraid or embarrassed to voice aloud. Even the introduction to this book is heartfelt and touching. I highly recommend you get the paperback version of this book for the full effect of the intricate formatting. My paperback edition of this book is now thoroughly stuffed with sticky notes marking my favorite poems.
I sincerely hope these authors come together and publish a second collection of poems soon!
