A little lazy to switch POVs MULTIPLE times, but I still enjoyed this. It's not supremely original, but a fun read nonetheless and I'll be reading the last one when it comes out
I loved this book. The ending to the Beautiful had me reeling for weeks, and to no surprise, so did this one. Bastien and Celine have some of the best angst ever in this book. I did not believe it to be possible, but the angst got turned up a notch since book one. There were multiple POV's which made the book very fast-paced and left me not wanting it to end. If you loved The Beaufigul then this will be the perfect sequel, even though the ending will leave you in pieces.

Gorgeous, gorgeous sequel. Worldbuilding expanded in such a natural way and new plot points introduced in a twisting thread of lives that makes readers unable to put down Ahdieh's intricate writing.
The drama!!!! I love it and here for it! The last 1/3 of the book really set up great for the next book I can’t wait for it to be released. But in a true YA book for bidden lovers/lovers triangle you got the good guy who genuinely cares for the main character treats her right after she’s injured his family loves her versus the bad boy who puts her in a lot of not so good situation but he’s hot and she can’t resist him so take a guess which one she picks I can’t wait for the next book I hope Michael gets a chance with his woman because he’s the one that put in the work taking care of her loving her team Grimaldi all the way.
