It was okay. I loved the angst at the beginning, the push and pull, the forbidden attraction, but then things got kind of boring. I think I started disliking it when he pushed her into the water with no consequences or long reaction from her. That one pissed me off. So many missed opportunities to explore more angst when they got together. She was too quick to let things go, and she wasn't portrayed as someone like that in the beginning. Didn't live up to the hype for me, but I might check out the rest of the series.

Me gustó, pero sin más, a veces sentía que leía y leía y no sucedía nada, como que me quedé esperando a que algo impactante sucediera y nunca llegó, probablemente me olvide de este libro en poco tiempo
Eran tontos, la mayoría de sus problemas era por la pésima comunicación y a mí personalmente me chocan estás situaciones
Nico me gustó, Elena no tanto (creo que en ningún momento conseguí conectar con su personaje), y ojalá ver más de Nonna que es súper divertida

Main characters had good chemistry but the story lacked so much. At no point did I feel like I was reading a maffia story, skipped over great character point, so many pages were unnecessary, the platonic kiss scene was so out of nowhere and childish I hated it. Also why did I need to read her outfits every single chapter? “I grabbed my over the shoulder top”… I don’t care.
It gave nostalgic wattpad vibes but that’s so far from my current taste that even the nostalgia was not enough to give this a good rating. I’m low-key still a little interested in the next book because of the pairing but I don’t really see myself picking it up.

Ich versuch mich nicht vom Ende beeinflussen zu lassen, weil das war wieder cute irgendwie und hat Spaß gemacht zu lesen (nothing special tho) aber der Rest war gar nicht meins. Es fing gut an und der Grundgedanke der Story ist auch nice. Italienische Mafia, kinda forbidden love, aber Elena war so flach und klischeehaft und Nico im Gegenzug (auch klischeehaft) war wirklich ein Arschloch fast das ganze Buch über. Und zusätzlich Sexistisch. Generell, das Frauenbild, dass dieses Buch vermittelt ist nicht wirklich auf dem neuesten Stand. Beispiel: Elena tut (abgesehen von 2 Vorfällen) alles, was ihr die Männer in ihrem Umfeld sagen ohne es zu hinterfragen.
Der Punkt ist wirklich Geschmackssache, aber dieses Buch war sehr sehr slow burn (wie gesagt, kann man mögen oder halt nicht). Dark Romance war es jedenfalls nicht aber mal schaun vielleicht sind die andren 2 Teile der Reihe besser.
