I was shocked to read this. This book was nothing I have read before this. Yes, I have read BDSM books before , but they were in your face and hard core, nothing but BDSM. As an example would be any “Jack Stone” books.

Yes, this is a BDSM book, but in a softer way. Soft like wrapped up in silk ties and soft cotton rope that bind you but in a soft way. They leave no scars.

The characters, Marley and James, makes you feel what they feel. The multiple character point-of-view works out to show you, as a reader, both points-of-view of the story line as it goes along. It makes the story line real for me, as a reader.

The settings are ones I, as a reader, can see and are real. The settings fit perfectly with the story line.
The pacing of the story line stayed as a steady pace through out the book. It was very enjoyable to keep me, as a reader, turning the pages to see what would be next for these characters.
When there was dialogue, the characters had it flowing like a well oiled machine that I, as a reader, did not have to stop and wonder what the characters were talking about. I just knew.

I got this book from the author, but my review is real.

HOT!!! Dirty talk ~ SMDH it was so good. Ok, the female lead was a bit on the TSTL side, but I bought this book for the ALPHA & the dirty talk. No real conflict/drama to speak of throughout the whole book, but again this is purely erotica w/an age play element. Not hardcore age play/regression, but light age play where she calls him "Daddy" & he holds all the power. Nice first installment, not sure if I'll read the next book just because I can't see how much different it could possibly be & the story line for the second book doesn't really interest me. Who knows? I may pick it up for the dirty talk alone.

The title of this book (and the blurb) are misleading. The relationship between the main characters are dom and sub, with the sub calling her dom "daddy." To me, the relationship dynamic mirrored 50 Shades of Grey. Cute romance with likeable characters, sex scenes fell flat IMO.

Title: Daddy Morebucks (Daddy’s Girl Book 1) by Normandie Alleman

Genre: Erotic, Romance

Rating: 2.75 Stars

Daddy Morebucks was definitely a novel that closely followed the classic BDSM erotic formula which was a shame as in the Daddy/Little Girl dynamic it always focuses on the same elements which diving deeper into it which would have been a refreshing look into the sub-genre. We are introduced to Marley who is currently working as a prostitute because of her circumstances when she is approached by Milton to works for James LeBlanc. Due to his boss’ strange sexual taste he normally finds James street workers willing to sign an NDA before meeting with him from an agency but the girl that was supposed to meet with James that night is ill and Milton is desperately looking for a replacement and finds Marley in a bar.

After explaining a little about James’ kinks and what he wants from the women along with the $5,000 price tag Marley agrees to meet with James even if she finds his kinks a little strange. Milton takes her to James where they spend the night together and we get to learn a little more about James and his kinks and how Marley fits into that dynamic even if it is only for a night. James and Marley fit together pretty well in terms of casual sex and he even lets her stay the night before sending her home the next day. Marley uses the money from her night with James to get herself off the street and into an apartment and finds herself a regular job moving on with her life. Meanwhile, James can’t forget about Marley and hires a private investigator to track her down because she doesn’t have a phone of her own and pays her a visit. Marley is obviously surprised to see James and enjoys spending time with him but she doesn’t know what he wants from her.

James explains that he hasn’t wanted to see the same woman twice in a long time and makes Marley to offer of becoming his full time sub even moving in with him in exchange for having all of her expenses paid. Marley struggles with her indecision for a little while as she doesn’t really know James but she grew up in a life of poverty and being unwanted by her alcoholic mother. She did have her brother for support until he was killed in Afghanistan and since then she has been alone. Eventually, she takes James offer and for a time everything is great but more and more Marley is feeling like a kept woman and while she doesn’t want to leave James she does want to repay him for everything he has done for her so she arrange a threesome with another sub which is in-between Daddies right now. Everything seems to be going well until James fucks the other woman which sparks a jealousy in Marley that she didn’t know was there and she flees to a friend’s house for the night.

James obviously goes after her when he realises she is gone as the threesome was Marley’s idea but she doesn’t want to talk to him. During this time James falls into a depression to the point he can’t even pretend to enjoy Christmas with his family as all his attention and focus is on Marley. Upon learning Marley has return to their shared penthouse he returns home where they have a serious discussion about what went wrong that night and she explains that she still feels like a whore because he sleeps in a separate room and doesn’t really interact with her much outside of their sexual activities. James explains back that this was because he didn’t want her to feel pressured into giving him more than she wanted to because of their arrangement and I love you’s are exchanged between them. Obviously there is a happy ending for the pair and while I don’t think I will be picking up anymore in the series I was satisfied with the story here. That being said, I did find the writing and dialogue absolutely cringe worthy at times but if you can get past this then it might be worth picking up but the writing and dialogue really put me off at times despite loving the characters and their story so overall not for me.

I have no idea what possessed me to read this book. I guess I was just in the mood for some fun smut, and the plot for this story sounded entertaining. Next thing I know, I'm reading this book into the wee hours of the night, thoroughly entertained beyond my expectations. It wasn't a masterpiece of fiction——character developments, world building, and plot are severely lacking——but for what it was, it was an entertaining enough read.

The h's gift of a threesome to the H and then her negative reaction afterwards made me dislike the plot and definitely dislike her.
