I really loved the vibe of the town.  The story wasn't my favourite, but I have a feeling I'll like the subsequent books more. I did love Henley, Easton just fell flat for me a little bit.

Ok let’s give it up to the queen of small town romances!! This is the 3rd series I’ve read from Laura and she has never disappointed me and I fear she never will. Safe to say we devoured this one but in all fairness, these books are SO easy to read that time just flies when you’re into it.

All that to say, I loved this love story!! The *enemies* part of enemies to lovers wasn’t what I’d classify this is as haha. It was clear that Easton was just making assumptions about Henley before they even met but I wouldn’t say there was any enemy vibes there

*Steal My Heart* is a delightful small-town office romance with a grumpy x sunshine twist. Easton, a guarded attorney, meets his match in Henley, his spirited new mentee, and their banter quickly turns into undeniable chemistry.

Laura Pavlov weaves humor, heart, and family bonds into this engaging story, making the romance feel both cozy and dynamic. The audiobook narration by Andi Arndt and Connor Crais elevates the experience, bringing the characters and emotions to life.

A fantastic start to the *Rosewood River* series—perfect for fans of heartfelt and fun romances!

DID NOT FINISH: 57%

I couldn’t read it anymore. Very insta-lust which I dislike, but on top of that, it was such a departure from Laura Pavlov’s other books. This seemed like it was trying too hard to be so spicy and I just kept getting frustrated. Besides the MMC being insufferable, I also missed the lack of small town charm in this one. Maybe the second is better and I’ll definitely give it a try. I did like “The Taylor Tea” and thought that did add to the cutesy small town I think she does week.

Excited for the rest of the brothers

Felt so good to be back In a LP small town! This novel is about Emerson’s brother, she’s from Magnolia Falls series (Beating Heart). To be completely honest, when we first met Easton, I did not like him. Like at all. I was worried how I was going to finish the book because he was such a jerk to Henley. However, as the book went and we learned more about him I really feel like I understood and empathized with him. By the end, I was completely obsessed with him and Henley together! His mental health struggles were so relatable and I really enjoyed his growth throughout the book. I loved the positive light that was shined on therapy as well.

Henley’s father owns the law firm where Easton is determined to become partner. He is known as “Shark” in the courtroom, so he is tasked with mentoring Henley, the bosses daughter who is fresh out of law school. Easton can’t stand the nepotism, until he learns she had a perfect bar score and was top of her class. Sparks begin to fly, and quickly the workplace begins to heat up.
