Thank you so much @valentine_pr_ & @laurapavlovauthor for my early copy of Steal My Heart.

Perfect name for this book, really. Seeing as these characters stole my heart!!
This is the first book in the Rosewood River series and what a way to start! I loved these characters so much and we all know how much I love a GOOD communication couple

“I’ll love you today, I’ll love you tomorrow, I’ll love you too I take my last breath” - swoon

Easton and Henley are forces to be reckoned with! Their whirlwind love story was swoon worthy! Loved this so much! The audiobook was amazing!

zero stars, idk why i even bothered with this book. the writing is so superficial and all of laura pavlov's books are the exact same, the only thing that changes is the names of the mc's. i would've loved her when i was 13

4.5/5 ⭐️

“You walked into my life and stole my f*cking heart, Henley. I didn’t even know it still worked. But it’s yours.”

Easton Chadwick is known in the legal world as the “Shark”. He’s a tough and hard-working attorney. He has won pretty much every case he’s had. Now he’s tasked with mentoring his boss’s daughter, Henley Holloway. At first Easton was annoyed, he didn’t want to be babysitting his boss’s daughter. He believes she only got to where she is because of her last name. But when he sees her work ethic and that she can handle any task he throws at her, he realizes that he misjudged her.
Henley Holloway recently graduated from Harvard and is starting at her family’s law firm. Her first day didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped. First she set off the alarm then she split scalding hot coffee all over boss, Easton. She knew winning Easton over would be difficult since she knew what he thought about her, but that wouldn’t stop her from proving that she belonged there.
Working together all day, every day brings up feelings Easton does not want to feel. Henley may be beautiful, smart, and funny, but he doesn’t do relationships for a reason. Easton’s past still haunts him. He doesn’t want to lose someone he loves again. But Henley has already worked her way into his heart. Now Easton must decide if being with Henley is better than never being with her at all.

Steal My Heart is the first book in the Rosewood River series by Laura Pavlov. I loved Easton and Henley’s story. Their banter was so funny and the tension between them was electric. Not even five chapters in and Easton was already so gone for Henley. It was so funny to see how jealous he got when other guys would flirt with her. He didn’t even like his brothers and cousins flirting with her. They both had their struggles and Laura portrayed them really well. Henley was scared that people would leave her. Her parents pretty much left her alone growing up. Easton fears losing the people he loves. In his past, he lost someone that meant so much to him that it still haunts him. He was going to a therapist for some time but stopped. When he realized how much he liked Henley, it scared him. I’m glad he reached out to his therapist again to talk about things. I love that we got to see Emerson, Nash, and Beefcake again. Beefcake is the cutest kid ever. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series!

I really loved the vibe of the town.  The story wasn't my favourite, but I have a feeling I'll like the subsequent books more. I did love Henley, Easton just fell flat for me a little bit.
