ADB is easily one of thee best Black Library writers, and this book/Trilogy is a crowning jewel IMO.
Others have described the book far better than me, so I will just join the chorus of fans.
If ADB and Chris Wraight could teac other 40k writers how to write 40k, that would be great :-)

My chemical romance en el espacio con crímenes de guerra.
This fucking ruled. I love the dynamic of the Night Lords not just being "ooo evil kill guys" but actually having some dynamics to their group structures. I also think its really cool how clearly the Astartes are in desperate need of a support structure without them and how rot sets in without these things. That feels like a dimension I've never really seen explored before and its done neatly here. Another neat thing is that in most 40k books the little preludes before chapters are kinda bad and meaningless, but here I actually loved reading each of them they have such good little tidbits of extra info to add to the story. Great book looking forward to reading the next one.

This is a great 40k book and explored both the history and depth of traitor space marines. I would recommend this as a read for any 40k fan and certainly a good starter book for someone looking to get into 40k as well. Amazing start to a trilogy.
ADB out here making me want to build a night lords army… how’d that happen?
