Suuuper cheesy. And maybe it's just all those child development classes talking but most of it seemed pretty common sense. Good reminders though I guess.
Sometimes for many employees their main motivation is to avoid punishment. And that is the worst type of motivation.

The style in which this book was written, a fictionalized psrsble-like scenario, was a bit contrived and painful at times. Most of the time, really. But the book was mercifully short and did offer a clear outline of a particular management style. I don't see myself implementing this style verbatim in my own management, but there were lessons learned that I will apply.
