This imo was better than #1 in the series. The characters were more consistent, and I felt like I knew them. The spice was also way more adventurous. There was more buildup.

DNF.
Empezó bien... fácilmente hubiese sido de mis favoritos de la serie; pero no.

I found this recommendation deep in the comments of Sonia’s review for The Master by Kresley Cole (amazingg book & FMC btw) I was looking for a feisty curvy FMC and it didn’t disappoint.
I really loved the banter and how they just bounced off of each other. Their first meeting was especially hilarious, and I can see myself re-reading this when I need a good chuckle.
It’s a contemp romance so as soon as we hear about Sophie’s ex boyfriend it’s obvious it’ll be a problem/misunderstanding addressed later on in the book. I would have respected Sophie more if she was able to communicate her POV without acting like a child. Nevertheless it is what it is, would it really be contemporary romance without some silly misunderstanding?
Solid 4⭐️ but won’t be reading the other books as I generally can’t stand books about celebrities

4.5 chatty girl stars 🌟
Gabriel and Sophie have the cutest grumpy/sunshine dynamic and I love their banter so much. From the minute they met on the plane, I was immediately invested in their relationship
The third act conflict was a little frustrating because it felt overblown but it was resolved quickly and everyone realized their mistakes.
Overall I really enjoyed this book! My favourite of the series so far
Moderate: Sexual content, Death of parent, and Cancer
Minor: Suicide attempt
