The ending was actually pretty good, but the rest of the book felt slow and predictable. Margot was an incredibly cringey character and it was hard to tell whether she was meant to be incredibly creepy or if this was supposed to be viewed as relatively normal “friend” behavior toward Eliza since she never got called on it.
