Such a tragic tear-jerking romance. I wasn't ready, but still need more.

Oh Finny.
I had tried to read this book back in July but couldn’t get into it because I found Autumn to just be… hard to know? She came off kind of annoying I think.
But I picked it back up a few days ago, and I got into it quickly. I found that my high school self could relate a little to what Autumn and all her friends were experiencing. Her breakup with Jamie was rough - and her friendship with Sasha, oof. Some friend she was.
Her and Finny finally spending time together, the true love and romance, I ate it up. FINALLY they both admitted to everything.
And then he was gone.
I did cry, I know some didn’t enjoy the book and the writing with the back and forth timelines could be confusing, but I cried when I read Autumn’s line - waking up, expecting him, and he wasn’t there. My chest hurt. He really, really, really loved her. So much. And they only got to really experience that for one night.
I only give 5 stars to books that hit all the sweet spots and wrap up nicely. The ending for this book was disappointing. I turned the page expecting more just to get the acknowledgements. Is she pregnant? What do the Mothers think? Who found her after her attempt? I mean - with all the detail we got through this book, you’d expect more of a wrap up. So minus one star.
I can still feel Autumn’s emotions currently so I’m going to take a shower to get rid of them.
