I love everything John Green. I've read everything John Green. And I could easily say this book lies exactly in between his best and worse works so far. It's not terrible. Great concept, I absolutely love the characters even though everybody thinks the reason they feel a bit YA is because of them. Trust me, the twists something too. But it's not the best. Judging solely based on his other/current works, it could've done one star better. Even then, I couldn't set it down until the very last words.

Have you ever find yourself questioning your own prejudice? I'm not going to lie, I flinched at Tiny's character since the beginning. But the plot knocks me over and toward the end? I felt ashamed for my own prejudice. You can't help but like the depth of Tiny Cooper. The book bravely put forth many issues issues that teenagers, not just queer, felt (I felt some myself), and quite frankly, it was quite a great emotional ride.

Unfortunately I was not a fan of this book. I didn't feel like anything happened in it at all and I was not a major fan on the writing style. The ending also confused me, even though I understood what happened I didn't really feel like it was an ending. I doubt I will pick up another John Green book again, unless I have a real interest in the story. (Sorry John Green Fans, please don't hate me!)
