This was fine. I decided to read it because I never read it as a kid (because it looked like an old book, which I guess my 8 year old self was right). I can see why it is considered a classic novel. It's a big coming of age story and I liked the relationship between the sisters but other than that? It was just fine. I don't see myself ever revisiting it.

A beautiful little slice of life!
had some issues with it such as the preachy nature of some of the earlier chapters, and don't even get me started on the "lessons" to be taken from Meg's marriage T.T
of course, these are just products of their time so it can't really be helped.
obvi was super invested in the whole jo/laurie/amy situation because its just SO wild! so kudos to that fun bit of drama!
7/10 (3.5 but i prefer out of ten systems, puts the numbers in better perspective to me lol)
