Magic school. Need I say more?
This book was super fun.
Unfortunately, Raisa doesn't interest me that much yet. I was always wishing to finish her chapters quickly so I could go back to reading about Han, who's story and character were far more entertaining. Hopefully, the two will have more interactions in the next book.

Wayyy better than the 1st book. Looking forward to continue on with the story.

When I open this book it was like have my old good friends return to me.
Rasia is one of the strongest and badass female characters i know.
This i just a great fantasy book with so much potential for the next 2 books i really want to read !
medium-paced
adventurous emotional hopeful mysterious tense slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: Yes
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

Solid!!

AND IT JUST KEEPS SLAPPIN HARDER AND HARDER EVERY TIME

Better in every way than the first book. The characters are rich and interesting, the world is intricate and believable. The stakes are clearly very high and rising. Whereas the first book felt like 500 pages of slog for 30 pages of great payoff, I didn't want this one to end. Well done!

Raisa: Alrighty Micah I'm gonna need you to pull through for these last 100 pages and just try not to be an asshole-
Micah: WHOM'ST'D'VE????? :)

I am Loving this series. For those who love Sarah J Maas, I think you'll love Cinda :)
