It was not what I imagined it to be as a kid growing up. I tried to read it aloud to my almost 4 year old and he enjoyed it but I found the flow awkward and the humor went over my kids head a bit.

Having to read these stories for my college class has been so much fun. I never got to read any of the fairytales or children's stories when I was younger and I kind of feel like I've been missing out.

Pooh and the gang are so adorable and I love everything about this book. I now have the urge to watch the show (which I've never seen before). Are there movies too? After 21 years, I'm finally a fan of Winnie the Pooh (lol)!

Read for the #olympicgames2020 Readathon - House Artemis. Prompt - Featuring an animal.

I absolutely adored this book. I had no idea my love for these characters and their adventures could grow to greater depths, but it did. It was delightful to spend time with Christopher Robin, Pooh Bear, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga & Roo. This book is absolutely wonderful in every way.

Read this to complete the Magnesis challenge for BOTWathon. And oh my goodness, it took me out of my month long slump!!!

Also this is easily one of my favourite children's books, it's easily accessible, the drawings are so cute and it also translates really well to the adaptations (which are also great).

I will definitely be re-reading this when I feel like a pick me up.

I have not a single childhood memory of watching, or reading, winnie-the-pooh. Of course, I'm well familiar with the figure. But I didn't think I had personal experience with it.
Which is why I downloaded the original work and gave it a spin. And wouldn't you know? Every single story was familiar to me.
And while I don't remember it, it's warming to me that I've rediscovered a spark of a forgotten childhood memory.

I wish I had read Pooh when I was younger. A friend of mine calls me Pooh-bear, I don't know what this says about me (or my friend!) but I do like honey after all.
