I recall having read (or having had read to me) some stories about Pooh as a child. Most of the stories in this volume were somewhat familiar to me, but I'm not sure if the reason is because I read them, or because I saw them as Disney cartoons.

Amazing, funny, cute, clever!

Winnie-The-Pooh, the world favourite tubby little cubby all stuffed with fluff and willy nilly silly old bear. I've been reading these books since I was a child, and I never get bored of them. I bought this book in a collection of 4 whilst I was in Krakow a few weeks ago and felt like a child on Christmas, I was so excited! Winnie-The-Pooh stories are great no matter what age you are and I would recommend them to anyone. If you haven't read them yet, you're absolutely missing out.

Delightful

A classic for a reason. Milne clearly loves his characters, and has such fun with the language that it's easy to get swept along. I got a kick out of his Peculiar Capitalization. Shepard's wonderful illustrations work so beautifully with the text.
