I almost dnfed this to save myself from spraining my eyeballs. So repetitive and two adults who couldn't sit down and have a real conversation with each other about anything with any sort of depth for more than a few minutes.

4 Stars - age gap with a light sprinkling of the taboo

I love Ms Tereze's storylines and she writes pining like nobody's business. There is also the added spice of a bit of the taboo here. Yes "technically" she is the stepmother, however, she never met her and her father remarried when she was already an adult and had been estranged from him for years. So, kinda taboo, but not very much. But I am down - I love a bit of taboo in my stories from time to time.

This book gets back to a bit too much of the "I am too broken, she will be better off without me" back and forth drama for me, however I still enjoyed it. It gets extra points for having an MC that is a club DJ in Ibiza. My fantasy occupation when I was a baby gay.
