I dunno if it's Kafka or the translation but there's a load of super long paragraphs and sentences in this making it hard to read, plus my book had size 10 font so I had to squint. I do like how there are at least 3 maybe 4 tales in here inspired by taking animals seriously as characters. Metamorphosis could so easily be about disability (and if so by modern standards it'd be own voices because Kafka was disabled after he got TB).
