Deadpool and Spider-Man together? Ooh my god, yes! Since I saw the episode 'Ultimate Deadpool' of the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' TV series, I couldn't wait to see them together in a comic.

description

The story was pretty simple. One of Peter's friends gets killed, together with other people who were known criminals. And when Deadpool shows up, Peter thinks suspects him of the massacre.
But good ol' Wade doesn't have a clue of what happened. So who could've done such a horrible thing?
Well, a monkey (Japanese macaque) named Hit-Monkey! Imagine a monkey in a suit à la Hitman with a whole lot of guns, and you get the picture.
But why hasn't Hit-Monkey left New York yet? Well, guess who did a lot of bad things in the past? That's right, our friend Deadpool did! The only thing he can do now, is ask Spider-Man's help.
You'd think the setup for the story is a bit lame, but wait until you see Deadpool's plan come together in the end. HI-LA-RIOUS!!

As a bonus, they added the origin story of Hit-Monkey. It was nice to see that they just took a monkey and gave him some powers due to an accident or something like we're used to.
His background story is sad, but satisfying. Although I still think a monkey who works as a hitman is a bit far-fetched...

Really, what else needs to be said after that? Monkey Business is the trade paperback that gave the world the following:

-Spider-Man + Deadpool goodness in abundance
-Deadpool’s French maid outfit
-The first official appearance of Deadpool calling Spider-man ‘baby boy’ (now required by international law to appear in every Spideypool fic ever written)
-A hitman that is also a monkey and is called Hit-Monkey

It’s fun, irreverent, and gave us some classic Deadpool moments. What more could one ask for? Four stars. Holla atcha boy!

Classic Deadpool - dark humor amongst the generic heroes of the superhero world!

Deadpool is definitely my most favorite Marvel superhero EVER.

I mean who can hate a guy who does this:

Deadpool in a French maid outfit is EVERYTHING.
And Hit-Monkey's origin story is as ridiculous and amazing as the very idea of the character himself. It's like "The Last Samurai" meets "Tarzan" meets "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes", which is exactly as weird and awesome as that sounds...

Just glad I got to see Deadpool in a maid costume. I read this because I recently  watched hit monkey and this is the first appearance of hit monkey. Solid comic, enjoyed the banter between deadpool and  spiderman and also how deadpool recognizes his differences to spider man.

Deadpool teaming up with Spider-Man is always a win. Adding in Hit-Monkey just makes it all the more awesome.
