A very fun and creative fantasy novel - it’s been a while since I tore through a new fantasy world so quickly!
I loved Tsira and Onna and their adventures. The romance, which I thought was going to be super strange at first (troll/human romance???) was actually incredibly adorable and I loved their dynamic. The world itself was interesting, and I would happily read a sequel.
-.25 because the first quarter of the book suffers from the extensive worldbuilding that had to happen. The book really picks up once we get to Hexos, but before then, I did start to feel a little lost with the many many names and places and concepts introduced in a short span of time.
Overall though, thoroughly delightful and well-written!

very entertaining! well written, interesting and dynamic. i would have read a lot more of onna and hexos because i thought that was such a compelling part of this story. i’d also read more set in this world, especially in hexos or about loga.

I found it both confusing and boring. The story jumped around too much in the first three chapters.
