This book plays out like a movie in your head through audio. It grabs you and takes you on a rollercoaster ride. Your heart races right along with the characters. This was a great read!

This was entertaining.
I’ve never read anything by James Patterson but this seemed like a good introduction as an audiobook. Aaron Paul did a great job as the main character, and seeing how this counts as book 0.5 in the “Black Book” series, if I do decide to start the series with the main books, I will undoubtedly picture Aaron Paul’s voice in my head as I read them.

I'm used to listen to a person or two reading, however this one is more like listening to the TV, there are background noises and voices, there are several people talking sometimes at the same time, its definitely a different experience, I'm not sure I liked it.
I like the story and I love Aaron Paul's voice and acting, I just thought it was very distracting all the noise on the background.
Its a good one if you are going to pay attention to it, I usually listen while working or multitasking and I did get lost a few times.

The narrators made an average story seem so much better. I loved the cast, they had me immersed in the story. What let this down was the storyline, it was at times unbelievable and kind of predictable. I won't be continuing on with this series

Fun story to listen to, intro to Patterson and I can see myself reading more of his material. They seem to be “easy” reads so it’ll be nice to break up between other books I gravitate towards. Also love Aaron Paul so this was enjoyable (and all the other actors did great!).
