This is an incredible read…one of the best nonfiction books I’ve ever read. Get ready to learn a lot while on the edge of your seat!

I wasn't sure I would finish this one in time (my book club is discussing it today) if at all, but I'm glad I stuck it out. Although many of the chapters felt excessively long at times and filled to the brim with information that might be fascinating for some people (not me), there were a lot of golden nuggets inside. The story this book tells is incredible especially because it's a true story - and the people within the book have a lot to say. Lots of life lessons to be learned and everything you ever wanted to know about deep sea diving, shipwrecks and U Boats.

As a diver myself I found this account to be absolutely spell binding. This book illustrates the joys and perils of wreck diving and deep water diving. I listened to the audiobook version which made it seem all the more compelling and at the end there was an interview by the author of the two main divers, Chatterton and Koehler. If you’re into scuba I’d recommend this book.

What an education into the world of shipwreck diving! There are only a small number of divers who can dive this deep and this dangerously and this book introduces you to a handful, two in particular. The story of their discovery of a German U-boat off the New Jersey coast is fascinating, insightful, and a real page-turner.
