I was getting "Breakfast at Tiffany's" vibes with some similarities between Regan and Holly (mostly that I didn't care for them), but Regan was slightly better than Holly.
The star of this book was truly Aldo, his characters thought process, and how he loved Regan was truly beautiful.

sorry but i did not enjoy how this book was written. i didnt know if the words were thoughts or dialogue and it felt like the author used words for the sake of sounding poetic vs. actually having any meaning. truly felt like i was listening to a manic spiral so i guess that was effective. ultimately, i didnt feel like there was a plot, climax or a resolution and i’m genuinely so confused as to what happened. fever dream of a book that essentially didn’t invoke any sort of feelings besides boredom, confusion, and annoyance.

this was amazing. just wow. so many things to think about, really. what is happiness? what is time? what is love? how is it to have a mental disorder? i swear the way regan's thoughts became more hectic and impulsive with time when she stopped taking her pills was both terrifying and beautiful. i wondered how could you even describe it this clearly but then i learned that olivie blake is bipolar herself. im genuinely in owe. sooooooooo good
