Couldn’t put it down. FMC a little naïve, but also idc. I like what I like. 🤷🏻‍♀️

A Kiss of Iron was a stunningly good fantasy romance with fae, court intrigue and all the female rage. I loved it. I didn't expect to fall in love with this book as much as I did, and I still don't know what more to say beyond the fact that I loved all the characters, the writing was extraordinary, and if you like morally grey MMCs and complex and strong in different ways FMCs, you should read this book.

This was a good read with intrigue, spice, and romance. I did get frustrated with Kat now and again so that lost a lot of points from me. Bastian really sold the book, though. I felt this touched more on historical romance than fantasy romance. It ends on a cliff hanger!
